Shelby Johnson, general contractor behind Johnson Construction, has built a business and a life in Pensacola, Florida.

He is a husband, father of two, and active member of the Pensacola community. Shelby has a Bachelors in Engineering Technology from the University of West Florida. He serves on two local boards. As a member of the West Florida Home Builders Association Green Build Council, he promotes and educates others about environmentally-friendly construction techniques. He also serves on the board of the Bill Hargreaves Family Fishing Rodeo which raises funds to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House. He teaches at the University of West Florida’s summer Construct This! Camp and is an active member of the Navy League.

Shelby has worked in carpentry and construction since 1986 and started Johnson Construction in 1994 (What Events Happened In 1994).
